Safety shoes don't last forever.

But what happens after that?
DTCH® X GAIA Circulair

Shoes are worn, they wear out, and at some point, they’re done.

But “done being used” doesn’t have to mean “ready for the trash.”

That’s why DTCH® is partnering with GAIA Circulair.

From used work shoes to useful materials

GAIA Circulair focuses, among other things, on the collection and processing of work shoes and work clothing. Used products are collected and then sorted; after that, the company assesses which materials can be reused or further processed.

That’s a lot more concrete than simply saying something is “sustainable.”

How does it work?

Work shoes are worn

worn-out shoes are collected

GAIA Circulair sorts the materials

they determine what can be reused
↓
materials are recycled whenever possible.

GAIA Circulair works with various business streams, including a “resource box” where organizations can centrally collect used work shoes.

This keeps things organized for employees and makes it possible to return larger material streams in an organized manner.
